Vela plaža in Baška, stretching 1,800 meters, is the main town beach and one of the destination’s symbols. The combination of fine pebbles and sand with a gradual entry into the sea makes it a favorite choice for families with children and non-swimmers. It has held the European Blue Flag since 1999. The beach is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.
