The Zagreb → Rijeka motorway toll for a passenger car is around €10 one way. The Krk Bridge has been free since 2020 — the bridge toll is no longer charged.

Autocesta A1/A2 do izlaza Rupa (Ilirska Bistrica), then via Rijeka to the A7 → Krk Bridge. About 3.5 h from Ljubljana, ~5 h from Graz, ~7 h from Vienna.

Baška ↔ Lopar (Rab)
Jadrolinija's fast catamaran line Kraljevica – Crikvenica – Senj – Baška – Lopar – Rab carries passengers only. It runs from 24 June to 30 August 2026, with one departure a day in each direction: from Baška at 10:45, from Lopar at 18:45. The crossing takes 30 minutes.
Price in 2026: €10 per person one way. Children under 3 travel free, ages 3 to 12 get 50% off, and return tickets come with a 10% discount.
Krk ↔ Cres/Merag
From Valbiska (about 26 km from Baška, roughly a 40-minute drive) a Jadrolinija ferry sails to Merag on Cres. Frequent all year round — hourly in season.
Split ↔ Krk (Rijeka)
There is no direct boat service to the northern Adriatic. The realistic options are driving or taking a bus via Rijeka.

Iz Rijeke
Autotrans (Arriva group) runs a direct Rijeka → Baška line from the bus station at Trg Žabica. The journey takes about 2 hours. The number of departures and fares change through the season — check the current timetable with the operator.
Iz Zagreba (direktno ljeti)
A direct summer Autotrans/Arriva line from Zagreb Bus Terminal (Av. Marina Držića 4); outside the season with a change in Rijeka. Check current departures and fares with the operator.

FlixBus runs to Rijeka, then a local bus to Baška. From Ljubljana ~4 h total, from Vienna ~11 h.

Rijeka Airport (RJK) — on Krk
The airport is at Omišalj, in the north of Krk. The drive to Baška crosses the whole island without using the bridge — about 41 km and 50 minutes. Seasonal flight offerings change from year to year, so check the schedule before planning your trip.
Getting to Baška: a pre-booked transfer or a rental car at the airport. The Rijeka Airport shuttle runs with every flight to Omišalj and Kraljevica (€8) and to Rijeka (€15), with a booking at least 24 hours in advance — there is no direct service to Baška. Local taxi: Taxi Gizmo, +385 51 844 095.
