In the evening back to Ba\u0161ka on the same catamaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting there<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service is the seasonal fast ferry line <strong>Kraljevica \u2013 Crikvenica \u2013 Senj \u2013 Ba\u0161ka \u2013 Lopar \u2013 Rab \u2013 Lun<\/strong> (route 323, &#8220;Kvarner Bridge&#8221;) operated by <strong>Jadrolinija<\/strong> with the catamaran <em>Silba<\/em>. The line runs from 24 June to 30 August 2026. In July and August it sails daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ba\u0161ka \u2192 Rab (town)<\/strong>: departure from Ba\u0161ka at 10:45, arrival in Rab town at 12:15 (around 1.5 hours at sea with a stop in Lopar)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rab \u2192 Ba\u0161ka (return)<\/strong>: from Rab town at 17:45, arrival in Ba\u0161ka at 19:15<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ticket price<\/strong>: \u20ac15 one-way, 10% discount on return tickets; children under 3 travel free, ages 3\u201312 receive a 50% discount<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are sold onboard or in advance via the Jadrolinija website and app. <em>Note: the schedule is seasonal and subject to change \u2014 always confirm current departures at jadrolinija.hr before you travel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to see in Rab town<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medieval old town with <strong>four bell towers<\/strong> (St. Mary the Great, St. John, St. Andrew, St. Justine) \u2014 the recognisable Rab skyline seen from afar<\/li>\n<li>St. Christopher&#8217;s Square, Srednja and Donja streets with stone palaces<\/li>\n<li>Komr\u010dar Park and the viewpoint over the harbour and the Velebit mountains<\/li>\n<li>Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (13th century)<\/li>\n<li>Summer swimming at Padova beach (Banjol), Frkanj (Kampor) or in small coves near town<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to eat and drink<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rab town&#8217;s promenade is lined with konobas, caf\u00e9s and restaurants with sea views \u2014 from simple lunches (cuttlefish risotto, mussels buzara) to classic Dalmatian meals. The town is famous for the <strong>Rab cake<\/strong> (rapska torta), an almond and maraschino cake \u2014 pick one up at a bakery to take home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The catamaran docks right in the town harbour \u2014 the old town is just a few minutes on foot from the pier<\/li>\n<li>Bring comfortable shoes for the cobblestones, sunscreen, and some cash for smaller venues<\/li>\n<li>In summer the old town gets hot around midday \u2014 better to walk the uphill alleys earlier, then sit down for lunch around 2 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>If strong bura or jugo winds are blowing, the line may be suspended \u2014 check jadrolinija.hr or the HAK maritime traffic page before you leave<\/li>\n<li>The catamaran does not carry cars; this is a passenger-only service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This is a self-guided trip idea \u2014 you use the public catamaran, without a guide.
